Mega Universal Capital Solutions Plc (MUCS) was established and registered in 2008 under the Company Act. Initially registered as a limited company named Mega microfinance Co. Ltd later changed its name to Mega Universal Capital Solutions Ltd,thereafter converted to a public Company. MUCS has emerged as a proactive response to the challenges faced by the now-defunct Mega Bank Ltd.
Our primary objective has always been to enhance the quality of life for our clients, their families, and the communities they belong to. To achieve this, we offer a range of financial services, including small advances, as well as various non-financial services such as asset acquisition, leasing, buy now pay later plans, and financial literacy training, among others.

Business Development Manager
With a robust background, Mr. Mutembei brings extensive expertise gained from his tenure at Barclays Bank and Sidian Banks, where he served in various roles, including Branch Manager. His professional journey also includes a significant stint as the General Manager for Muisaw Solutions, a logistics company operating in Kenya and Sudan.
Mr. Manuel Mwangangi
Strategy and Compliance Manager
Manuel is responsible for strengthening strategic execution, governance, and operational discipline at Mega Universal Capital Solutions Plc. With over 15 years in financial services, he ensures that the organisation’s strategy is translated into measurable outcomes, structured processes, and scalable systems.
Director Kamau Mucuha

Meet Mr. Kamau Mucuha, a pivotal figure within Mega Initiative Welfare Society (MIWS). As one of the founding members, Mr. Mucuha holds the esteemed position of the current and second Chairman of MIWS, the organization behind the inception of Mega Universal Capital Solutions Plc.

Meet Major (Rtd) Nkiiri, our esteemed Chairman of the board. Major Nkiiri holds a degree from Makerere University and boasts a distinguished career in the business world. In addition to his business acumen, he is a retired major with a notable tenure of service in the Kenya Airforce. His leadership and experience bring invaluable insights to our organization.

Ms. Purity Wamaitha Wakubwa
Board Member
Ms. Wakubwa is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with over 20 years of experience spanning marketing, sales, business administration, and corporate governance. She is the Founder and Director of Lighthouse Tours & Travel and Model Skyline Agencies, and has previously held senior marketing and management roles at leading travel and hospitality firms. A holder of a Governance Certificate from the ACT Institute and multiple professional certifications in leadership, conflict management, and business development, Ms. Wakubwa brings a wealth of commercial acumen and strategic insight to our Board.
Mr. Ephantus Weru Ndiritu
Board Member
Mr. Ndiritu is a seasoned banking and finance professional with over 23 years of experience at Absa Bank (formerly Barclays Bank of Kenya), where he served in positions ranging from clerical officer to management level across multiple departments. His extensive background in banking operations, credit, property valuation, and financial services brings a depth of institutional knowledge and governance experience that greatly strengthens our Board.
